Hands-on learning
Students practice measuring, cutting, problem-solving, and following step-by-step directions while making something they can proudly take home.
For homeschool families
Give your child a hands-on creative learning experience close to home. Little Stitchers welcomes homeschool families from Watkinsville, Oconee County, and the Athens area for beginner-friendly sewing instruction.
Students practice measuring, cutting, problem-solving, and following step-by-step directions while making something they can proudly take home.
With up to five students per class, children ages 7–15 have room for patient guidance and growing confidence.
We start with sewing-machine basics, safety, fabric, and simple techniques—no prior sewing experience required.
Our six-week sessions meet once each week for one hour. Sewing machines and basic notions are provided; students bring fabric and thread for their projects.
Tell us what day and time work best for your family, and we’ll help you find a Little Stitchers class that fits.
